planning multiple weddings at a time is freaking hard y'all

but it doesn't have to be

Back when I first started my business, I took on every wedding I possibly could. I didn't care how much they paid me or what package they wanted, I wanted to be their planner. I wanted to build my portfolio, and more importantly, I wanted to get my name out there in the community. But I ended up growing quicker than I thought and I all of a sudden had 14 weddings, a full-time job, and no clue how to give consistent services to my clients.

That's when enough was enough. I decided to start tracking my time and I came up with a plan for each package and what I would include. As I started this, I kept track of the emails I was consistently sending out and created templates for the items that I was finding were useful to each client, no matter what their wedding was like.Once I did this, I saw my reviews getting better. I was no longer spiraling out of control. I was no longer frantically going through emails trying to figure out what the heck I still needed to do with my couples. And best of all, I stopped feeling guilty for giving too much of me to one client and not enough of me to another, all while bringing in six-figures!

This is just one reason, I BELIEVE in the power of templates and workflows. And I can't wait for you to be able to implement the same ones I built out into your biz!

I would answer emails as they came in, offer meetings as they were requested, and had no clue how much time I was working on each client and if what they were paying me was even close to compensating me for my time.

I decided to start writing out the time I was spending with the different clients and it killed my little wedding planner soul. I was being underpaid by 80% on every client. Some clients were getting WAY more attention from me than others, yet they had the same package. And frankly, I had no idea what I had and hadn't done for them.
